While searching through lists of Open Access Journals, Gillian McCarthy discovered the the International Journal of Qualitative Methods, which is published by the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology (IIQM) at the University of Alberta. In her post, Gillian discusses the relevancy of this journal for her research on Strategic Design, which includes interviews with design academics.
The International Journal of Qualitative Methods was launched in 2002 and is published four times per year. It is multi-disciplinary and multi-lingual. All articles, which are free to view and download as PDF files, carry a Creative Commons Licence (CC-BY-2.0) that “permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited”.
